We are so excited to begin managing your rental property! Below are the steps you’ll need to take to get started!

1. Review our minimum standards for your rental property here: Exterior and Interior Standards
2. Fill out Keyrenter’s New Owner Onboarding Form
3. Review and sign the Management Agreement (will be sent via Docusign)

4. Contact your homeowner’s insurance agent and update the policy as a rental. Add Keyrenter as additionally insured.

Additional Steps To Complete As You Get Signed Up

Prepare your financial cash reserve (we recommend 3 month’s rents) to prepare for any future items.

2.

Contact your homeowner’s insurance agent and update the policy as a rental. Add Keyrenter as additionally insured.

3.

Notify us when you have vacated the property so we can make arrangements to retrieve keys.

4.

Email us HOA rules and restrictions if applicable.

5.

DO NOT TURN OFF ANY UTILITIES! The new tenants will get utilities transferred into their name. It’s important to keep all utilities on for occupancy inspections, cleaning, etc.
